    Hello fellow harp lovers! My harp needs to have its soundboard replaced in the near future. I would like to hear your experience or opinion about it. How long does a new soundboard last in general? I heard that the sound of the harp will change completely with a new soundboard. What’s your experience in the regard? Is it similar to getting a new harp and that one has to play it a lot especially in the beginning to get the sound opening up or breaking in? Thank you.

    Every question you are asking depends on the make/model of harp, the current type of soundboard, and the proposed replacement soundboard.
