Are you learning “Minstrel’s Adieu” on the lever harp? Is there a lever harp arrangement of it?
I just listened to a clip of “Dug’s”.
I’m so glad that you learned “Song”.
Hey There Jer,
Oh yes, I use it as part of my warm up EVERY day.
It’s an impressive piece to do when someone says “Play something for me”.
Yes, I do get sore fingers
Take care of yourself!
There’s another book by (Deborah?) Frou that I think has many more Baroque English pieces. I did a couple lesser known ones by Jeremiah Clarke and they were very nice and very simply written
I started “Song” Jan 1st and had it well under my fingers and memorized by March.
OH Philipa – besides just playing around with familiar things to keep me from going completely insane, yes – “Song” was pretty much it since I had to perform it at the end of April.
I have to say that I can relate to HarpGuy.
The best other jazzy pieces I’ve tried are lsited below
This is a great list.
hi Rachel, I’ve been working on Red Sequins too, fun song isn’t it?
