On the first page of the harp part for “Jaws,” starting at
measure 15, there are D octaves in the left hand on beats 2 and 4, that
have a small accent mark (^), although not quite so spread as that,
with a dot at the base between the two upward slanting sides.

I’d just play the octaves forte.
