    Agghhhh!  I just read that Apple is getting rid of the jack in its new iPhone 7.  I use my iPhone with a Peterson app to tune my harp. I plug an adapter into my pick-up mics. It is so helpful in tuning when there is other noise around. I sent a nasty note to Apple. They don’t care, but I do.  Just an FYI in case anyone is interested.

    Addendum – Just as I swore to change to Samsung, I received a couple replies from the Apple support community. With the new iPhone 7, you get a 3.5 mm audio jack adapter. Of course, that means another accessory to carry around or worry about getting lost…but at least those that use the Peterson app with pick-up mics aren’t screwed.
