Does anyone know anything about these websites: http://www.harpgigs.com & http://www.harpteachers.com ?
I have a profile on both of these sites, and have tried to contact them for a few months now to change my city and phone number. I have not heard anything and my old information is still up there… There is no phone number to call and I never get a response from email.
I keep getting inquiries for lessons, and am tired of turning people down because I don’t live there anymore!

Have you tried clicking the “Harp Talk” tab (at Harpgigs) and the “Teacher Lounge” tab (at Harpteachers) and going to “Live Chat?”

If you click on my name, you will find that I have been complaining about Harpgigs.com response history for at least 3 years. Everytime I feel I need to contact them for what every reason, I would send the same email daily and just change the #number. Ex. #1, #2,#3. And I do mean daily until I at least shame somebody into responding to my concerns.

I tried a couple of similar services, and all I ever got was spam. In certain areas, like Silicon Valley and D.C., people use the internet more to find teachers, but not here, it seems.
