I wish to get some advice and tips from experts or experienced harpists who ship their harp often.

I hope to ship my grand harp overseas but I’ve never done it before. I would really appreciate it if someone could provide me some tips, advice and knowledge on :

    1) packaging harp technique – Although I’m already asking for professional packing service, I hope to know some important packaging technique specifically for harp, just for in case if the service provider has little knowledge about packing delicate musical instrument like a harp.
    2) insurance covering both replacement, devaluation/ damage – I was informed that, it is best to buy specialist musical instrument insurance instead of the insurance recommended by shipping company. What are the key procedures I need to do? Most of the specialist insurance company I found is not in my country.
    3) shipping company – the service provider has recommended me a shipping company. However, I have a major question : does the type of shipping company matters? Should I keep looking for shipping company that has experience in shipping music instrument specifically?
    4) Important things to take note of before and after shipping – I have researched and came across some tips like : loosen the strings one step before shipping, and allow the instrument 24 hours acclimating to the surrounding temperature and humidity after shipping. Other than that, is there anything else I should take note of?

I apologise again if my questions are vague. I have no prior knowledge at all about harp shipping and hope to seek valuable advice from the experienced fellow harpists in this community. Thank you very much.
