Does anyone have a favorite transcription of this piece? I see two for sale online: One by Renie and one by Burton. Anyone know the Differences? What is your personal preference? Thanks!
I prefer the arrangement in Lucile Lawrence’s “Solos For The Harp Player.” It was transcribed by Salzedo.
It is a perfect transcription, in my opinion. Salzedo was a terrific pianist, and thoroughly understood Debussy.
Thanks for your helpful replies. On your recommendations I ordered the Salzedo version from the Lucille Lawrence book!
Some of the fingerings may seem tricky, but they really help with the phrasing.
