    If you really want to go Vegas or Hollywood or just plain strikingly unusual with your harp, especially an electric one, I have a friend who will design extraordinary fiber optic lighting for your harp, that can even turn different colors for each note, or whatever you like. The business is called Conservation Lighting International.

    The new Chicago harps reminded me of this thread, and what harps named for other cities would be like:

    The Seattle: shaped like a cup of coffee with a lot of foam on top

    The New York: A skyscraper harp

    The Minneapolis: like a tree, very nice, nice, nice
