I am a beginning harper. I am in the market for a lever harp. I know of someone who is selling a very nice Triplett Sierra at a hugely discounted price because of a crack in the knee block. Apparently, the crack occurred during shipping from the company, but I am told the crack has not budged during the last eight months. Can someone tell me how serious this problem is? Should I even consider buying a harp with a crack in the knee block? Thanks!

Rebecca, I would check with a harp tech in your area. He will be able to tell you the cost of repair.
