California Harp Center will be open for appointments starting March 31. Co-founded by Vincent Pierce, Alan Berquist, Aysha Gomez-Kureishi, and Carlos Gomez, the new showroom and resource center is located in the San Francisco Bay Area at 1837 Whipple Road in Hayward.
According to a press release, California Harp Center provides harp sales, long- and short-term harp rentals (including a rent-to-own program), and consignment services. Additionally, the center provides access to harp regulations, maintenance, and restringing, as well as harp lessons, facilities such as practice rooms and a community performance stage, and regular educational workshops and masterclasses. California Harp Center’s mission is to serve as “a welcoming resource for Northern California and beyond, making the harp accessible to everyone.”
The showroom offers a selection of new and certified pre-owned pedal and lever harps from Lyon & Healy, Salvi, Camac, Aoyama, Dusty Strings, Triplett, and Harp-E. For more information about the center, visit California Harp Center’s website.
