Belgian harpist and Vienna Philharmonic principal harp Anneleen Lenaerts will release her new trio album French Trios on Oct. 23 on Warner Classics, together with flutist Adam Walker and violist Timothy Ridout. The album brings together chamber works rooted in the French tradition by Debussy, Ravel, Vierne, and Ibert, alongside music by Belgian composer Joseph Jongen. Several of the works are arranged for flute, viola, and harp, including two arrangements by Wouter Lenaerts.
“It has a been a long time coming—this album of French trios with two wonderful musicians and friends,” Lenaerts says on social media. “A lot of time, love, and laughter went into this album and I can’t wait to share more with you in the upcoming weeks!”
The album is available as a physical CD and digital download and via streaming, and is available to pre-order or pre-save via Warner Classics.
