Both graduates of the “A. Boito” Conservatory of Music in Parma, Alice Caradente and Alessandra Ziveri founded the harp duo “Alchimia” with the aim of presenting audiences with a wide-ranging repertoire, sometimes unpublished and sometimes forgotten. After attending masterclasses and courses with internationally renowned teachers, they further explored this chamber repertoire through the research and performance of original compositions and transcriptions, approached with deep stylistic expertise. They recorded the album Parafrasi Verdiane, released by Tactus (Bologna). They have performed in prestigious festivals and concert series, including the Bellagio and Lake Como Festival, the Società dei Concerti di Milano, the Belluno Concert Season, the Verdi Festival in Parma, and the Aperitif Concerts of the Arturo Toscanini Foundation.
