Memberhi Michelle, i used to use trolley of 6 wheels in our conservatory, but let me say you that you still need 2 persons to move the harp by it, one moving downstairs and another holding the column, but really the harp gets shocks when you move it downstairs or up, and it takes time, better to carry it on the stairs and then use a trolley of 2 wheels on surfaces, i am going to buy one of tow wheels and asked Carl Swanson so he advised me of 2 wheels too, i found it on http://www.Vanderbiltmusic.com and on http://www.harp.com

Memberi dont know if i have a perfect pitch or not, but i know if i play a string that is tuned or not and if it needs to be tuned a little up or down by ear, and then check the tuner and find that i am correct as the tuner, but maybe its different from having a perfect pitch and also as i said i sing well and clean, and know the fifth and fourth intervals and octaves, i think that is enough for tuning.

MemberHi Kari, i tried the harpgigs chat but there is a problem in the java , so couldnt inter the chat,i think this site is neglected ,and know body know about it.

MemberHi Elizabeth,do you agree that the student should sing first, the fifth and fourth and octaves perfectly then he can be able to tune it perfectly too?
mr-s
MemberHi Misty , your student should have a good ear talent, he should use the fork for the A`then start tuning or use the A from piano or other instruments then start the other notes, he should be able to sing the intervals and hear it correctly, for example play him A , then let him sing the lower D , the the uper G, then the lower C, then the uper F, after E, then start to sing octaves , beleive me if he has a good hearing ability he can tune by his ear easily.

MemberHi Brenda i suggest In Paradisum from G.Faure Requiem there is arrangement for the harp you can find it on harp.com and also you can do your arrangement of Pie Jesu from the same Requiem if you have the choir and piano score, and also you can play Sarabanda of Handel.

MemberHi Rod i have an easy piano arrangement, and it sounds so beautiful on the harp.
