Mary Ellen FitzgeraldParticipant
I have had a Delight for almost 2 years and love it. I take the harp out 2-3 days a week, and it has savedhad hours..I don’t put it in a case, just pull it out of the car and off I go. I play In a hospital, and tho not as warm a sound as wood, it still is lovely.
Mary Ellen FitzgeraldParticipantBlevins also has doubles.
Mary Ellen FitzgeraldParticipantI got Delight in Jan 2011, and love it. I used it for hospital work originally, but now it is the only harp I take out. Everyone has been impressed with it, especially my harp friends. It has a brighter sound than wood, but the weight makes up for any small compromise in warmth. I have had no trouble adjusting to the curved soundboard, and go back and forth between harps without problems. I LOVE this harp
Mary Ellen FitzgeraldParticipantYikes- I’m sorry.
Mary Ellen FitzgeraldParticipantI bought a used Hidden Valley Harp this year and they have a little metal bar.
Mary Ellen FitzgeraldParticipantIn my limited experience with cross-strungs, it seemed like a totally different animal!
Mary Ellen FitzgeraldParticipantI have a friend with the same problem, and in addition to everything else mentioned, she added humidification to her apartment, keeping it at 50%, with various fountains and humidifiers, and her problem was essentially solved.

I ended up getting the Honda Odyssey.
Mary Ellen FitzgeraldParticipantHi
I’ve been looking into rentals for some of my students and they stipulate that the harps may not leave the house–not for gigs, not for nuthin’!
