    Interrupting is part of the normal flow of conversation and we probably all do it at one time or another. Sometimes we just jump in, or maybe it is the only way to get a word in edgewise. However, if interrupting you is a habit of his, tell him.

    Hi Anja

    OK….if the string is buzzing when the lever is both up and down the first place I would look is still at the lever.

    If only certain strings break on a regular basis then it is possible that the string is at to high a tension when brought up to pitch.

    However, it is more likely that the problem is either where the string exits the sound board or enters the tuning pin.

    Tracking down a buzz can be very tedious sometimes so first let me ask you some questions:

    The particular overall string tension and feel is part of the design criteria of the harp.

    The first thing I would check is the contact point between the lever and the string.
