Thanks guys, i’ll give it a go!
Cheshire CatParticipantI have to agree.. I’ve played both of those harps and they are (sorry but…) absolutely dreadful, they are
Cheshire CatParticipantWoowie!
Thats extremely helpful, thank you so much!
Cheshire CatParticipantI was thinking more like tunes that the average beer drinker will have heard of, i know there aren’t many tunes that have made chart history, but i’ll be dammed if i can think of one!
I love the idea of using the 1st and 5th of the chords, just given it a go- its certainly easier, but still getting lost- i guess i’m just gonna have to practise more.
Cheshire CatParticipantMe too- I say hi, bye- sorry i dont have time to play with you today, etc! I dont have children yet, so she’s like my baby!! Sad aren’t we! lol.
Cheshire CatParticipantHi Emily!
Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
That’s awesome, i don’t have any harping friends- I’ve been learning for 8 months. There aren’t any good teachers in our immediate area, but I’m just going to start lessons with a lady called Marigold Verity in Sherborne. She looks really good, really knows her stuff!
I live just outside of wimborne, where are you moving too? Are you a harper or harpist?
Bex.
Cheshire CatParticipantTony- I’ve just bought a new sylvia woods book, the O’carloyan, i’ve got her xmas one, and its very well arranged- i didn’t realise what those letters where at the top! thanks hon!
Cheshire CatParticipantwow, thanks everyone!
Awesome Kate… I’ve told him your comments and he agrees- play for 10mins and jobs done!
