    Hello John,

I was looking at You tube and came across a tour of the Salvi Factory.

I’m not sure how old it is buy man was it intresting!

I when PBS would do an 8 part special on folk and pedal harp building.

I ‘d have to miss work and rehersals just to watch them and I’d buy the DVD set.

    Andy,

When I have the time and energy after work i go up and talk shop with Rhett,

Becky is always going home by the time I get there but she lives fairly close to me.

And I play as many harps as I can paying attention to what’s the same and what’s diffrent.

It’s fun and I’m glad they are open till 8 on thursdays.

    Thanks Everyone!

It was so nice to hear from so many other male harpist.

My sister is very excited as are many of the guest you would think it’s the first time- well for most of them it will be the first time they see and hear a live harp.

I plan on letting my harp get use to the church 2 days before the wedding so it should be good to go.

    Saul,

I agree the design of the Salzedo should not have been messed with.

    Vince,

So nice to know i’m not the only lover of modern design!

What do you think of the Venus Criteron and Aquilan harps?

I like the Bauhaus design but if it were up to me I’d make the capital 35% larger.

Have you ever toyed with the idea of desiging a design for a soundboard?

I’m not against painted sound bords I just wish there were more modern type designs other than the Slazedo style stripe.

I think a Miro inspired painted design on the sound board of a nice medimum wood finish instrument would be nice.
