I think you should hold out for the Prelude, unless you think you will fall out of love with it (“whatever that may be at the time”).

    Deb,

Have you checked into a rent to buy program?

hi Kay and Jessica, rent to buy program you get 100% credit for first 4 months, 50% for next 4, nothing after that.

A few weeks ago you wrote that the Signature was not right for you.

    Deb,

If you have any sort of CD or savings account that you don’t want to tap into, you can still get a loan against them and by law, be charged only 1 1/2 % interest over the current rate that is being paid on your cash acct.

    Hi Deb,

It looks to be in good shape, but it does not have a veneer over the soundboard, which is not a bad thing, just cosmetic.

you have a good point Gloria, I have seen what time can do to a harp in the Dauphine, and swore I would take that into consideration when I buy my harp.

If the harp is worth whatever its asking price is now I don’t see why it
should be worth that much less in a years time- the difference would be
that you are a private seller rather than a dealer with resources and
    reputation.

I don’t know what’s near you, but Melody’s has a used Blevins Encore and Thormahlen Swan in stock right now. My Dusty is 20 years old and is just going in for a tuneup, so getting a good harp that will last a long time is worth it!
