    Has anyone heard of a good recording of the 2nd Sonatine of Tournier? I have had this sheet music in my files for years, so I just hauled it out to have a look at it.

    Elizabeth- The only recording I know is one by Alice Giles. I’ve listened to it a few times. But that sonata is just not as good as Tournier’s First Sonatine. I’ll have to listen to it again(the second sonatine).

    Do you know of any recordings of his Quintet(I think that’s what it is)?

    Yes, the Mirage Quintet has recorded Tournier’s Quintet recently, with Erica Goodman playing the harp. It is available on amazon.com.

    Carolyn Mills performed it and may have a recording of it. It was required for Israel in ’85 or thereabouts, so some contestants must have recorded it.
