I have always been intrigued and mesmorised by ‘Pour le Tombeau d’Orphee’ but could find very little written about Flothuis in the musicology vein, until yesterday when I found this very useful write-up and analysis…. and read that there are many chamber works to explore with harp.

    Thanks for this, Alison!

He wrote a lot of harp music, and his Sonata da Camera for flute and harp was, most remarkably, written while in a Nazi prison camp!
