I received the following this morning.

Suzanne Balderston has passed away this week from a stroke.

Suzanne was National President of the American Harp Society twice, held positions with Salvi Harps, and of course a great teacher to many. Suzanne was a vital part of the Harp Community worldwide and her presence will be dearly missed. Thank you Suzanne for all you have done for Harpists and musicians around the world.

Very sad. I play some of her arrangements of Opera arias. She was an extremely talented arranger. A big loss for everyone.

I like her arrangements too. And I’ve heard numerous times over the years what a really great teacher she was.
