One of my students is playing this part in a youth orchestra. I haven’t seen the part yet is it hard?

No Misty, the notes themselves are not especially difficult, but there are some tricky rhythms and entrances. Maybe work on just tapping out the rhythms with a metronome. Have your student download a recording and listen to it (many times) on his or her mp3 player.

I have played it in my youth orchestra. It is not hard at all. Just have her play with a metronome
