Occasionally I play a wedding…. it’s not something I do often. I played a beautiful wedding on Saturday. The bride requested “Ice Ice Baby” by Vanilla Ice for the entrance of the bride and her father. I agreed. I listened many times on Youtube and downloaded the sheet music. So, after some consideration, I broke it down in three four bar sections…. a four bar bass line, another four bar bass line, and then four bars of improvised “Ice Ice Baby” since there was no melody. I actually feel pretty good and think I kind-of pulled if off. Here’s Vanilla Ice’s video…
