I’m polishing Tango (got it memorized which is a miracle in itself). Also memorizing Rumba – struggling with the 2nd pg pedal changes (I just keep forgetting when, hmmmm), and started Gavotte and one other in Preludes InTimes.

Since I do not take lessons, I learn about harp music from sites like this.

Well, I wouldn’t call it WORKING on, but just yesterday I tried out some Fats Domino on the harp; specifically, “Walkin’ to New Orleans.”

Trying to *finally* finish memorizing the last section of Frank Voltz’s “Peace Be With You”. The jazz chords are not in my musical vernacular, so it’s a satisfying stretch. I’m also working the Canon in D so that I can get to the point where I can play it in my sleep. Other than that, I’m trying to get my memorized repertoire up to a solid hour (not including Christmas music), so that I can offer my services to a local inn (for a fee, of course), and possibly to nearby hospitals (for free). I have about 25-30 minutes right now. It’s getting there! 🙂

Fire Dance by Watkins and the 4 Preludes by Tournier. Love the Preludes a lot. Tournier is awesome!
