Does anyone know what size the Salvi Angelica’s were?

I say just email Salvi. Honestly, I’ve never heard of that model. But I’m a dork, more or less.

    Best of luck.

They also made one that more Josephine-era, with a square capital with ormolu on it, I

    believe.

I played one a couple of times many years ago – they were in fact quite a lot

    smaller than the Salvi Orchestra,

In May 1977 a Salvi Angelica 46 Empire pedal harp in mahogany was listed at $4000. when Salvi had an outlet in Santa Monica, California.

I have a Salvi Angelica, if anyone is looking for one. It’s a baby-grand-size pedal harp, one (top) string short (and I think one inch short) of a full orchestra model, with a straight sounding board but an absolutely amazing tone. I’ve had a lot of comments on how rich the sound is.

The top is a scroll, modeled after a harp owned by Marie Antoinette. Mine is walnut with a blonde sounding board and gold trim. Great condition. Beautiful. If anyone is interested, please e-mail me with an offer. These are gorgeous harps. Too bad they didn’t make but a few of them.

I haven’t played it in years and it seems a shame to just have it sit there. I’ll miss it though..!

I just played a friend’s Angelica and it was very sweet.

It would make a good gig harp because of it’s size.

I realize your posting was in ’05 but am wondering if your’s is still

around or if anyone knows of any
