I need some advice about studying harp after 15 years of absence. I

started very young (about 7) during a period of 12 years, I own two

harps, and I play sometimes, however I play it less and less. I

think I need a really good teacher who can understand the problems

of an adult student with some background in playing the harp. I feel

that my needs are very different from a young harp student or an

adult student without any previous training. I don’t have the time

neither the interest to go thru all the technique, I need few but

very focused exercieses and music. I feel that the most difficult

part is to realize that I won’t play ever again all those difficult

pices that I used to prepare when I was in the conservatory. If any

of you have had any student in this situation please give me some of

    your advice.

Hi Rob – Your situation sounds almost identical to mine.
