    Hello,

I have a 40-string lever harp (L&H prelude), and I was thinking about shipping it overseas–to Asia. With insurance and shipping, does anyone know where I can find a ballpark figure??

I’ve already lived here for a while, and I’ll probably have to have it completely restrung anyway. Does anyone know approximate costs to restring?

    Thanks so much in advance.

Lindsay, contact the Lyon and Healy company, that has shipped harps all over. They could also answer your question about re-stringing. You may wish to do any re-stringing when the harp is at its destination.
