As far as I’m aware (hearsay) it has a reputation for being a decent sounding budget harp. Obviously it’s not going to rival a harp costing many thousands but for the money it’s apparently good value and definately not a lemon. Why not go and visit one at musicmakers themselves, I understand they have a showroom with their instruments and try it out? It’s the only way to be sure.
The Regency harp, in my opinion, has an excellent sound. It has the best bass… and is very full bodied. There are different things that can be done to improve the integrity of the structure, like shorten pillar/soundboard a bit and reduce the neck curve.
