Hello. The attachment below is an arpeggio from the Offenbach Fantasy (bar 2, beat 3) by Damase. Can I get some suggestions for fingering solutions?

    TIA.

The easiest, for a larger hand, would be to play the first 4 notes with the left hand, then all the notes in the upper staff with the right, doing a thumb slide on the top 2 notes.

Alternatively, you could play the very first note with the right hand 4th finger, the next 3 or 4 notes with the left hand, and the remainder with the right. It all depends on the speed and what is comfortable for your hand.

    Carl,

Thanks a lot for the help. Answered my question.

    Take care.

If you feel you cannot place all the notes on a chord with large intervals, you may place 4 and 3, and after you play 4, shift and place 2 and 1 as you play 3. You could place one finger at a time, but it will slow you down a bit.
