I had a request from a student for recommendations for music for her 26-string lever harp. I sent her links to various outlets that specialize in this, but I would be curious to know if you have favourite pieces that would fit a harp with a range from C below middle C to the G above the treble staff.
You might like to check the Simply the Harp website. My good friend, Angi Bemiss, publishes a lot of music for small harps that you and your students could enjoy.
I’m a great fan of the books of Suzanne Guldimann ‘for lap harp’, by which she means harps with a full octave below middle C. On even smaller harps one can usually play the music an octave higher.
I’ve got several of her books and love to play from them. My favorite is Pastime with Good Company: Elizabethan Songs and Dances.
I also have some arrangements up for smaller harp (I often list the range on the music and/or in the description). You can browse them at https://www.fischarper.com/shop. I’m also happy to take requests via my website contact form. 😀
