Hello, Does anyone know where I can find the sheet music score for R.Gliere – Concert for harp and orchestra op. 74? I found the harp part, but I can’t find the orchestral parts.

I think International Music in NY is the only place you can rent it from. Last time I saw the parts, they were very fragile and tissue paper thin. Something must have been done since it was used for the USA International Comp in Bloomington… maybe IU has the parts as well?

With a 1938 date the concerto is under copyright world wide (except Canada, China, Japan, S. Korea). In the U.S. only the material rented from Schirmer, Chester NY. is legal for use by orchestras. In other countries contact the agent in that country for the Russian Publisher. http://www.schirmer.com/default.aspx?tabId=2423

Rental requests for score and parts to works are only accepted by publishers when they are signed by the orchestra librarian or administration or conductor.
