I have a question about Manon Lescaut by Puccini.
In Act II, from 14 before Reh 30 to about 8 after Reh 30, do you play what is written or do you omit some notes in your left hand?

    Please give me some advise.
    Thanks

I have not played this opera in a long, long time, but I see a “facilato” indication in the left hand at that entrance.

As Salzedo used to say, “speculate on the harmony,” meaning, play the right harmony is the main thing.
