I live in Australia and was wondering if someone could please provide me with contact details of a reputable local harpist in Chicago who tests harps for people

Dear John, I fear that the title of this post may be a problem, as it doesn’t say “available for testing harps”. When I first saw it, I immediately envisaged a line-up of professionals at a clinic waiting to be tested for some communicable illness. If you don’t get any answers, try re-phrasing the title.

Natalie Bilik and Nancy O’Brien at Lyon and Healy are both professional

harpists. They have chosen well for my students and for me. There is no

fee. They can play for you by phone—or perhaps skype, although I’ve

never tried that.

The harpist about whom I was speaking was Nancy O’Brien. She was extremely helpful, and as I posted previously, her description of my harp was spot on.
