Think this would make a good pic for the cover of Harp Magazine.. Or… maybe the Post Office Most Wanted???

Here’s the Lyon & Healy Prelude I used to have:

And here’s the Camac Athena that I now have, with my son behind it:

Everyone says he looks just like me, so consider that a picture of me. 🙂

Leigh, I did this by composing as HTML, with image tags referencing the harp pictures that I have on my site.

Ooookay… in other words, I’ll have my hubby do it! ;-) The picture I
was thinking of isn’t on my website and I don’t know how to do all that
stuff! Thanks for the info, though, I’m sure he will know exactly what
you mean (he built my website).

Leigh, once you have the the pictures uploaded to you web site, then right click on the picture and select “copy links location” then here in the post reply select the “add image icon” then paste the address of you picture you just copied from you web site. You should see it in your reply message before you post the message here. If not.. Then something is wrong. If you or anyone here doesn’t have access to a web page or trouble posting. You can send me a picture and comment about the picture and I can post it for you by adding it to my web page. ken

Victor, just beautiful. Your son looks to be getting the fingering down..

Sorry this picture is so small. It is from my website. I am all the way to the right and you really can’t make out my harp. All the other harps in this picture are Witcher 31 string student models.

Again, I am all the way to the right. I used this basket until it fell
apart. Now I use a plastic bucket that I made a cloth cover for and
also use it to carry my music, tuner, etc. We are all wearing matching
shirts (painted by me!) that have our logo, an angel playing a lap harp
on a blue and purple background. We are the Heavenly Harpers of
Houlton. Our teacher, Nancy Harris, is all the way to the left. She has
moved aeay, but we all still meet and play!

June, that has to sound as beautiful as it looks. Just georgeous..

Thanks Ken. It is a lovely instrument. I have to give up on the music stand though. I’m finding myself craning my neck because those legs are too tall. My husband said he will cut them down for me.

I like your new Ravenna too. You must be very excited about it. 🙂 I like the shot where you’re looking through the strings. This idea for a thread is fun. Isn’t Victor’s Camac pretty too? Heck ALL the harp pics are pretty!!

Here’s a link to my latest photo. Not much of the harp, but not too bad of me!

That’s a really nice pic, Pat. You look lovely, as does your harp.

WOW! Katie your site is incredible! I really love the fact that you have MP3s on it. (I finally know that I’m playing the Little Fountain right…) The recording is perfection. Did you do it in a studio? Do you have a CD? So many artists have CDs available for purchase at their gigs these days.

When I grow up I want to play like you! ;-7
