Online Wedding Advirtizing

Does anyone use online wedding advertisers like Weddingwire or The Knot? I’ve had a free Weddingwire account for years and gotten small but consist traffic from it. Do you have any comments on these or another favorite online way to book weddings that works for you?

I have heard that it is extremely difficult to cancel membership in the Knot once you’re in. Membership is automatically renewed every year. I did pay to be on WeddingWire one year (it was very expensive) and got nothing from it, whereas I had gotten one job from it previously when I had a free listing. Lately there don’t seem to be very many leads that actually book from any source, so I wouldn’t suggest paying for them, but maybe it’s different in your area. Try googling vendor complaints for any site you’re considering before you decide. Good luck!
