Okay, so I am upgrading my pedal harp from an Athena to Atlantide in the near future, but I also considering exchanging my lever Camac Aziliz. I have always been interested in the Camac Janet since it’s conception. After all, it’s by Janet Harbison, and it sounded like it had a more medium tension than the Aziliz.

However, the Janet is strung with nylon? I thought traditional celtic harps were more gut than nylon. Any ideas on why Janet Harbison would select nylon? Do you prefer nylon for any reason when playing traditional Celtic style pieces? Can you string the Janet with gut?

    Thanks,
    JD
