    Hello all,
I joined this forum some time ago, but it has been this past week that my harp has finally arrived. It’s a Camac Korrigan that now occupies a place of honor in my living room. During the wait it has been really useful reading all your comments and listening to recordings online. I already have a couple of books and the number of a local teacher and can’t wait to start plucking those strings!

Oh wow, Boira! It’s a lovely harp and you must be so excited! I didn’t sleep for about a week before my first (and, come to think of it, second) harp arrived or before my first lesson. I look forward to hearing how you get on with playing and, hopefully, following your journey from beginner to expert. Do you already play other instruments or is this a completely new experience for you? Have you given him/her/it a name or don’t you do that?

Thank you everybody! It’s been almost 25 days and I still can’t believe it’s in my living room 🙂
Lyn, I have a small previous music background (2 years solfège + 6 years piano) which has helped me tremendously to find my way around the strings.
It’s a pity days only have 24 hours, I’d need many many more 🙂
