I know I’m ready to move on from Christmas music for a while, but I
watched the old animated “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” last night.
I just love that song the Whos sing when the Grinch is expecting them
to cry about him taking all their stuff., Who-ra, something,
    something, something…

The song you’re looking for is called “Welcome Christmas.” It’s available in the Christmas
book in the Showstoppers series, for one source.

I should perhaps have mentioned that it’s not particularly lever-friendly, although it’s a
pretty easy tune on pedal harp.

Can you tell me where I might be able to purchase the harp version? I tried at Vanderbilt’s, l+h, and melody’s and couldn’t find either “welcome christmas” or the Showstopper’s series.

I’m not aware of any harp version. The Showstoppers book is for piano. Try any regular music store, not a harp music dealer.

Incidentally, they have both a regular and an easy piano edition. In my experience the easy piano version is easier to find and it’s not ultra-simple, like a Big Note edition. There’s enough there to work from.

Incidentally, this is a *very* old thread. Nowadays you can get just the one song as a download from any number of online sources. Google “‘welcome christmas’ sheet music”
