I’m moving soon from Oregon to Colorado with my pedal harp, and will be putting it in the car, which will be pulled on a flat trailer behind the moving truck. (Yes, I made sure the harp is up-to-date on insurance!)
I’m wondering on advice on prepping the harp for the move. I’ve already tuned the strings down a 1/2 step – should I do more, or is that fine? I’ve also read other info regarding gently lowering the temperature (it’s used to around 68 degrees; the car will be kept lower), and am wondering if anyone has some experience with this. I’m guessing it’s a little like prepping a harp to ship, with which I don’t have experience.
    Any advice appreciated!
