Somehow, I came across an announcement that Yolanda Kondonassis has started a summer harp program in conjunction with the Monteux School, not in Camden, but in Hancock, Maine. (Or another town.)

That is true. There was a notice in the lastest Harp Column magazine, page 45 (third page from the back).

The Pierre Monteux Festival is a summer training course for conductors. I’ve rented a harp to them for years now. Hancock Maine is a five and a half hour drive north-east of Boston. It is very close to Mt. Desert Island (Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, etc.). Yolanda’s course seems to be happening the week following the end of the conductor’s training course. So I don’t think it is technically a part of the Pierre Monteux summer course, which ends July 31.
