Looking for free scheduling app

Have just started looking for free apps that would help me in writing down scheduled jobs in detail. Have looked at a few but they do not allow me the flexibility of adding or subtracting information, times, contact information, whether deposits were received, etc. All the idiosyncrasies that a musician would have to personalize their scheduling technique and style.

Most of the ones I have seen, treat my entries as if they were dental appointments, with start and ending times. Need to fill in more than that. Any information would be helpful. The important word here is FREE. I just want to be able to write or fill in complete information so I can have it at my fingertips when job offers arise. Thank you all in advance as I continue to look and experiment with what ever I stumble upon.

You could easily rig up a database and forms (input) with MS-Access on your PC, or do you want an APP on a phone/i-pad ?

Thank you for response. I should have mentioned that all I have to work with is an Ipad 2, which I just love. So I was looking for a free app that I could, through it’s settings, somehow get it to do what I need as far as putting clients information down and just have it at my fingertips. Not having been raised with computers, your first sentence kind of lost me because I do not know how to rig anything. This is a foreign language to me.

I just went to the app store, and searched for daily diary and a number of apps came up. I thought Daily Notes looked good, but it is $4.99. There was another one that was free, “my Wonderful Days Lite” but I didn’t like it quite as well. Anyway, just a thought to search for a daily dairy rather than a calendar app. that way you have the days listed and plenty of space to write things down. Good luck!
