    Hi,
I am a French harpist, coming to the Dominican Republic in October for a year, and I am wondering if there are any other harpists there… it would be great to get in touch with another harpist 🙂
Also, I am trying to figure out the best/cheapest way to fly my concert harp there, as I have not been able to track down any harp on the island. Would you know a good company?
    thanks!

There is an annual festival each year in the DR and a harpist from the US goes there. He is a student of Susann McDonald. I don’t know what his name is or what the festival is called but he takes his harp probably he can tell you how to get your harp there.

Thanks Misty, that’s really good to know! I think I just found his name – André Tarantiles. I hope he’ll be able to help.
    thanks again!

Adan Vazquez is the leading harpist from there, I think. You can find him on Facebook.
