    I would like to find out whether there are any harpmakers or musical

    instrument shops that sell harps in Sydney, Australia.

    Go to this site:www.harplust.com and enter onto the harplust list.If you sort the list geographically you’ll get a whole bunch of harpmakers in Australia and I think it is safe to assume that at least one lives in Sydney or sells his harps in a music shop there.Another excellent harpseller/maker list is http://www.harpmall.com.I hope this is useful!Good luck!

    Patricia, I can highly recommend Brandden Lassels as a harpmaker, who lives in West Gosford on the Central Coast of New South Wales, about 1 hour’s drive north-east of Sydney (also on railway line).

    The best known harp resource centre in Australia is the Harp Centre, which is based in Canberra. It stocks many different brands of harps, as well as accessories, music, and other things that you will need. Also, their website has lots of information on harps and what you can do. I would personally recommend going to them as a first port of call for the harp.
