    Hi All :-)

Anyone have the L&H Concertino or have good information about it (sound, upper register space, etc.)?

Thanks in advance for the info.

Don’t have one but I tried one out. The Concertino is also called the 85E. It is very similar to the 85CG (Concert Grand) only a bit smaller. It has the same string range, 0 octave G to seventh octave C. It is about 3 inches shorter and a bit lighter.

Despite the difference in size I didn’t find a significant difference in terms of upper register spacing, just a little tighter. But then I have an 85P which is much tighter in the upper register so it could just be that anything is going to feel roomy by comparison.

Sound wise they are comparable to the rest of the 85 series, which I like enough to own one. I would say it is a very good quality no frills harp.

    Hi Kay,

I looked at the 85Es when I purchased my harp from Lyon and Healy in Dec 07.
