I was reading about the Bow Brand Burgundy Strings and it mentioned that they could be used on pedal harps as well as some lever harps. I have a Salvi Livia and was wondering if I might be able to use these strings on that harp. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

I don’t believe so. Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but the Burgundy strings are only Pedal Harp strings. The lever harps that can use them are the ones that use pedal harp strings, like the L&H Ogden.

If I remember correctly the Livia uses lever harp strings and I do not believe that the burgundy strings are made in lever harp gauge.

I just broke the 3rd octave B string on my Prelude 40 and replaced with Bow Brand

You can use any brand of pedal harp strings, but of course that string may look different and sound a bit different than the bow brands do.
