A bride has requested “Let her Go” by Passenger. have any harpist received “the request” and if so- is there an arrangement?

It seems like a strange request for a wedding. Isn’t the song about losing a love relationship because they didn’t appreciate the person until too late? It could have some people wondering whether the bride or groom was still carrying a torch for someone else as they take their vows.

    Hi Elizabeth,

Yes, I think it is a pretty weird song for a Wedding. I think it’s another of those tunes– like “A Thousand Years” that “the kids” listen to and the words have more meaning than the actual music. Without the words with just a harp or harp and violin, the song doesn’t have meaning. I try to discourage brides and suggest they get a singer and we’d accompany the singer.
