Does anyone have any experience with a lap harp that has a retractable cello peg? I’m going to have Craig Pierpont at Another Era Lutherie make a 26 string Irish Harp for me,

    Hi, Holly:

I’ve not tried them myself, but the Dusty Strings Ravenna models have a drop-down leg so that they can be played standing up. Blevins also has the “Le Stick”, which attaches to their models so they can be played standing up. You can see both on their respective websites. Maybe someone who has tried them will chime in. Hope this helps,

    Andy

Hi, I have a Dusty Strings Ravenna 26, with the retractable leg, and I’ve never heard it rattle at all during playing, and the drop down leg has never gotten stuck

Thanks Andy and Gloria….this helps a lot.

I think I will go ahead and get this. One less item to lug around!
