I’m fairly new to the pedal harp but would like to consider playing the famous Kol Nidrei tune by Max Bruch for my synagogue on Yom Kippur next year, to accompany my husband, a clarinetist (professional). The sheet music I’ve seen for piano and cello looks somewhat difficult and the piano part is certainly not very harpistic, although I’d be happy to just play some chords underneath the clarinet. This is sort of a mercy mission; the violinist they had playing last year was beyond painful.

Is there any existing music written for the harp (or harp plus one) for Kol Nidrei? Thanks.

Dewey Owens has a book titled “Jewish Traditional Music” which contains Kol Nidrei. The level of play is listed as lower intermediate.

I’d like to try an arrangement of Kol Nidrei with organ/harp/cello.
Can anyone recommend something? …or is there such an arrangement available?
