Has anyone performed this piece? It’s from the movie Empire of the Sun. It’s a very festive piece, but the harp part is insane. Besides not having any places to turn pages, the part is just a whole lot of notes that are all doubled in other parts of the orchestra. The piece isn’t horribly difficult, but there is just a lot to learn in a short time. Had I gotten this music more than two weeks ago for a concert next week, I’m sure it would be fine, but at this point I’m stressing about how to play this part well. I would appreciate any advice from anyone who has played this. Thanks!!!
