Has anyone in here edited Stanford’s “Irish Rhapsody No 1?” I suck at doing this job and fear I am making a mess of this piece!
The harp part was obviously written for 10 fingers. The first 6 pages are all arpeggios Some are playable but most are not. If there were a pianist in this upcoming concert, I would hand the part over to them but no such luck!

Sid, I wish I could help, but I have never played that particular work. Can you simplify the arpeggios by dividing them between hands, or keep them in a closer range rather than playing the entire arpeggio up and down, in other words, make them an octave or two shorter? Just some thoughts.

    My best to you,
    Balfour
